m – risk (Environmental Risk Assessment, Monitoring & Management) is a Fundacion Chile business unit that provides specialized services in risk management and environmental monitoring in order to create a better environment and greater competitiveness for the industry, by means of an environmental information system that allows clients to put in order the large amount of monitoring and to represent their area of influence on geographic information systems. The information can be used to detect tendencies and to analyze responses in the event of incidents, in order to reduce the environmental impact of the operations.  Furthermore, specialized environmental services are performed, focused on the detection and reduction of risks, such as environmental risk analysis in specific sites, environmental risk analysis for ecosystems, risk analysis on a geographic scale, and design and optimization of monitoring networks (to give an early warning should risks arise). m-risk’s services are a system of environmental information.

They also seek to respond to the growing need to have mechanisms and tools to carry out effective monitoring of the regulations for the quality of water, as well as watershed management, issues with high national priority.
